Textual history

The Parātriṃśikā (also Parātrīśikā) is a short Kaula scripture on the supreme goddess and the phonematic body of speech. Abhinavagupta's Vivaraṇa is his major prose commentary, interleaving root verses with extensive exegesis on mantra, phonemes, and nondual awareness. The GRETIL encoding (Somadeva Vasudeva) presents root and commentary together; some Apabhraṃśa passages present in manuscript traditions are omitted in this digital witness.
