Abhinavagupta's verse commentary on the Mālinīvijayottara, treating revelation and the Śaiva canon. Sanskrit via GRETIL (input by Jürgen Hanneder).

Textual history

The Mālinīślokavārttika is Abhinavagupta's early verse reflection on the Mālinīvijayottara — the scripture he treats as the highest Trika revelation. It addresses how scripture descends, how the Śaiva canon is ordered, and how the Mālinī stands above other tantras. Manuscript transmission is Kashmiri; Jürgen Hanneder's edition and the related GRETIL input brought a reliable Sanskrit text into digital circulation.
